Grace Kids

This week we begin a new unit entitled: Encounters with Jesus. Jesus’ early encounters with people revealed that he had come to be the Savior of all people – Jew and Gentile, male and female, rich and poor. All people have been made in God’s image and are loved by him.

The first lesson will be taught from John 3. The kids will be taught that Nicodemus needed new life – eternal life – but he could not do anything to earn it. Eternal life is a gift from God. God showed his love in this way: He sent his one and only Son to save the world. Everyone who believes in Him will not perish but will have eternal life.

Please pray for our kids to understand how great God’s love is for them. Pray that they would acknowledge their need for a Savior and receive God’s gift of eternal life through Christ Jesus.

Opportunities to Disciple Our Kids

The Awana curriculum helps kids, ages 3 years through 12th Grade, grow with God from small to tall. We use it as a tool in discipling children to belong to, believe in, and become lifelong followers of Jesus. Each week children and youth have fun playing age-appropriate games, learning from God’s Word through large-group Bible teaching, and memorizing Bible verses in a small-group setting.
