Grace U
GraceU classes fulfill Grace Baptist Church’s mission to make and multiply Christ followers by equipping Grace members and those in neighboring churches through offering a formalized biblical education with the local church. It aims to grow mature church leadership via four educational benchmarks of biblical literacy, theological development, personal discipleship, and ministerial preparation.

Adult Bible Fellowship
Looking to get plugged into the Grace Baptist Family? Join an ABF!
ABFs provide a place for the Grace family to meet and study God's word together in a small group setting and have time for fellowship, prayer, and connection on a deeper level. Many of our ABFs are multigenerational, and we encourage believers of all different ages and walks of life to gather together in community. ABFs meet on Sundays during both services. Next Tuesday, October 4th we’ll begin a month “Tuesday Night Bingo” at Bridge to Home. If you’d like to get more involved in serving with our local partners in SCV please email us below.
GLOBAL
Our final GO Team for 2022 left yesterday. Please keep this short-term mission team in prayer as they serve alongside our Global Ministry Partners in South Asia.
Join us on October 16th at 6:00 pm for a time of prayer for the country of Haiti, alongside our Ministry Partner, Connect 2 Ministries. We’ll be meeting in room D220.
Our Global Partners, the Llamas's will be in town from November to March! We’re excited to welcome them back to the states. The Llamas's will need a vehicle to borrow during their stay. If you know of a vehicle they could borrow, please reach out to us.
Let's be praying for Grace Member Logan Merkle this next week. Logan works for The Seed Company, which does Bible translation work among the unreached. He is headed to Burkina Faso and the Ivory Coast from September 28-October 7. Please be praying for safety and healthy while traveling, for his family while he is away and to see fruit from their ministry efforts.

EuroRelief | EuroRelief is a connection of Hellenic Ministries in Greece. Their expertise is now being used in caring for the influx of refugees out of Ukraine.
Josiah Venture | Since before 2007, Josiah Venture has been involved in a disciple-making movement in Ukraine where they serve and partner with over 100 churches.
Children’s Hunger Fund | God has opened a door for CHF to provide relief aid to churches and strategic partners caring for Ukrainians and refugees in Romania and Poland.

The GriefShare Fall Season has been updated due to room logistics. Please take note that the day has been changed from Wednesdays to Thursdays.

This 13-week session offers support and encouragement to those experiencing the loss of a loved one. All are welcome whether it is your first time or whether you seek a source of continuous support. Register below.
Thursday, November 17 or December 15, 6:30-8:30pm, D120/121 | Surviving the Holidays
This special one-time meeting offers support to those who must walk the path of the first or subsequent holidays grieving the loss of a loved one. The curriculum is identical for both dates but provides flexibility to attend according to possible scheduling conflicts. No need to register.
Frazzled Families
Frazzled Families is a place to find encouragement and support with other families who have a loved one with a diagnosed long-term mental or physical disability.

Grace Counseling Training
Every Sunday in October 2 - October 30 from 1:30p-3:30p in D221
This 5-week training session is a prerequisite training event for those, past and present, who have a desire to minister to the Grace Family in our upcoming new season of “one-to-one” counseling. If interested, call or email counseling@gracebaptist.org.

Grace Kids
This Sunday we will wrap up our study about idolatry with a lesson titled We Are to Worship God Alone (Isaiah 44). Throughout the last several weeks, we have learned how God’s people struggled with idolatry and how God used men, called prophets, to turn their hearts back to him. This Sunday, we will hear the message God told his people through the prophet Isaiah. This message reminded God’s people and reminds us as well, that he alone is the one true God. Please pray for our kids to know God alone is worthy of our worship and to choose to turn from idolatry and evil ways to rejoice in the God who saves.

The goal of Student Ministries is to be a place where Junior High and High School students can move from first faith to firm faith. Our greatest privilege is to partner with families in their discipleship efforts. We hope you'll come and join us.

Once a Month, 7:00-8:30pm | Adulting Our seniors are graduating and will be entering into an entirely new phase of their lives: Adulthood. We want to support them in helping them conquer the little things that adults encounter daily, while giving them the opportunity to ask questions, have fun, & enjoy their last days as a High School student together. This will be happening once a month and food will be provided. Please RSVP below to get the location and other details.

College Potluck Lunch | Come and join us for a potluck lunch in the Timothy Student Center (TSC) Lobby on Sunday, October 9th at 12:30 pm. This is an opportunity for you to meet other college students attending Grace. We are hoping this will be a place for you to begin to build friendships that will walk with you through your college years and beyond.
Grace Young Adults
Grace Young Adults is a college/post-college ministry (20s and 30s). Our desire is for young adults to be anchored in Christ. We exist to equip and inspire college and post-college-aged young people to powerfully live out the gospel. We do that through monthly events and weekly Grace Groups.

One-to-One Discipleship
Everyone can benefit from the wisdom of a more mature believer showing us how the word of God comes to bear on our daily lives. We are also currently in need of more disciplers. Widow’s Connection
Widow’s Connection is a ministry for any woman who has lost a spouse. Our goal is to keep you connected to the church family. Besides helping you to meet needs that arise, there is an Adult Bible Fellowship (ABF) on Sunday mornings and we also have fun events throughout the year for fellowship.
