Grace U
GraceU classes fulfill Grace Baptist Church mission to make and multiply Christ followers by equipping Grace members and those in neighboring churches through offering a formalized biblical education with the local church. It aims to grow mature church leadership via four educational benchmarks of biblical literacy, theological development, personal discipleship, and ministerial preparation.

Adult Bible Fellowship
Looking to get plugged into the Grace Baptist Family? Join an ABF!
ABFs provide a place for the Grace family to meet and study God's word together in a small group setting and have time for fellowship, prayer, and connection on a deeper level. Many of our ABFs are multigenerational, and we encourage believers of all different ages and walks of life to gather together in community. ABFs meet on Sundays during both services. Bridge to Home, one of our local outreach partners, has given us many ways to invest in the lives of the homeless in SCV. Currently, there is a need for teams to make and serve dinners. If you'd like to sign up to be on a team and help bless the Shelter residents with a meal, contact Outreach below.
GLOBAL
Our next and final GO Team for 2022 departs from the Grace D-Bldg Parking Lot on Wednesday, September 28 at 12:00pm. Feel free to join us as we send our South Asia team off in a time of encouragement and prayer.
Wheels for the World: Middle East - Gene and Monique Newman are heading up a team of physical therapists and mechanics that will be custom-fitting wheelchairs donated by Joni & Friends to our location in the Middle East. We invite you to earnestly pray for smooth travel, joyful unity as our U.S. team works with local partners, and fruitful opportunities to share the great news of God's love as we serve people living with disabilities. Matthew 5:16 "...let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven."
Our Global Partners, the Llamas's will be in town from November to March! We’re excited to welcome them back to the states. The Llamas's will need a vehicle to borrow during their stay. If you know of a vehicle they could borrow, please reach out to us.

EuroRelief | EuroRelief is a connection of Hellenic Ministries in Greece. Their expertise is now being used in caring for the influx of refugees out of Ukraine.
Josiah Venture | Since before 2007, Josiah Venture has been involved in a disciple-making movement in Ukraine where they serve and partner with over 100 churches.
Children’s Hunger Fund | God has opened a door for CHF to provide relief aid to churches and strategic partners caring for Ukrainians and refugees in Romania and Poland.

The GriefShare Fall Season has been updated due to room logistics. Please take note that the day has been changed from Wednesdays to Thursdays.

This 13-week session offers support and encouragement to those experiencing the loss of a loved one. All are welcome whether it is your first time or whether you seek a source of continuous support. Register below.
Thursday, November 17 or December 15, 6:30-8:30pm, D120/121 | Surviving the Holidays
This special one-time meeting offers support to those who must walk the path of the first or subsequent holidays grieving the loss of a loved one. The curriculum is identical for both dates but provides flexibility to attend according to possible scheduling conflicts. No need to register.
Frazzled Families
Frazzled Families is a place to find encouragement and support with other families who have a loved one with a diagnosed long-term mental or physical disability.

Grace Counseling Training
Every Sunday in October 2 - 30 from 1:30p-3:30p in D221
This 5-week training session is a prerequisite training event for those, past and present, who have a desire to minister to the Grace Family in our upcoming new season of “one-to-one” counseling. If interested, call or email counseling@gracebaptist.org.
Grace Chaplains

The Chaplain Ministry, a support to our Pastoral Staff, is resuming. All retired men who have a heart to serve and care for the needs of others are welcome.

Grace Kids
This Sunday, our kids will continue studying the prophets God raised up to speak on his behalf and to warn the people to worship him alone. For the next two weeks, they will focus on the prophet Elisha in 2 Kings. They will learn that God gave Elisha the same spirit that was in Elijah so Elisha could carry out his mission as a prophet. Additionally, they will learn that Jesus told his followers to wait for the Holy Spirit. God gives believers the Holy Spirit so they can share the gospel with the world. Please pray for our kids to believe in the one true God and serve him only.

Fall Festival! Mark your calendars for Friday, October 28 from 6:30-8:30pm.
Soon FUN-Size candy donation bins will be available around campus, as well as, an online Amazon link so that candy can be delivered directly to the church. Volunteer registration begins Saturday, October 1. Don't miss out on this great opportunity to intentionally engage our community and build relationships to share the Good News of Jesus Christ.

Student Ministries
The goal of Student Ministries is to be a place where Junior High and High School students can move from first faith to firm faith. Our greatest privilege is to partner with families in their discipleship efforts. We hope you'll come and join us.

Our seniors are graduating and will be entering into an entirely new phase of their lives: Adulthood. We want to support them by helping them conquer the little things that adults encounter daily while giving them the opportunity to ask questions, have fun, and enjoy together their last days as a High School student. This will be happening once a month and Food will be provided. Please RSVP by emailing Ricky below to get the location and other details.

Grace Young Adults
Grace Young Adults is a college/post-college ministry (20s and 30s). Our desire is for young adults to be anchored in Christ. We exist to equip and inspire college and post-college-aged young people to powerfully live out the gospel. We do that through monthly events and weekly Grace Groups.

Widow’s Connection
Widows Connection is a ministry for any woman who has lost a spouse. Our goal is to keep you connected to the church family. Besides helping you to meet needs that arise, there is an Adult Bible Fellowship (ABF) on Sunday mornings and we also have fun events throughout the year for fellowship.
