Mission & Focus
The mission of the church was laid out by Jesus Christ in Matthew 28 . . . "make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you." At Grace, we've adopted a mission statement, central ministry focus, and guiding principles that embrace the mission set forth by Christ Himself.
Why We Exist
We exist to make and multiply Christ-followers who magnify the glory of God.
Our Central Ministry Focus
To accomplish our mission, we must teach and model God's Word in the power of the Spirit, engaging our world as agents of transformation.
Our Goal for Christ-followers at Grace
Through the power of the Spirit and the Word, we are making and multiplying Christ-followers, who live out love, from pure hearts and good consciences and authentic faith (1 Timothy 1:5).
Our Guiding Principles
Loving
God's love for us is our primary motivation in all we do, while our love for Christ and our neighbors shapes the way we do all things.
Gracious
We are building a worshipping community where all are welcome, as we pursue real relationships with God and one another, through Jesus Christ.
Eternity Minded
We approach every day mindful that this life is just the prelude to the next and that our charge is to rescue the perishing and prepare them for heaven.
Faithful
We will persevere in faithfulness to God and His Word, to one another, to the family, and to our shared mission.
Generous
We are committed to being big-hearted in our relationships, stewardship, and involvement in the mission of Christ.
Innovative
We believe that bringing the unchanging truth of God's Word to those in a diverse and rapidly changing culture will demand creative thinking and doing.
Authentic
We are truthful in our communication, transparent in our relationships, and conduct ourselves in a manner that is worthy of Christ.
Team-Oriented
We work together as loyal, participative partners, respecting the authority of those who lead us, and value team wins above individual accomplishment.
Maturing
We embrace the call to consistent spiritual growth and believe our progress in becoming more like Christ should be evident to the watching world.
