There is always something special about the first day of school! Do you remember the excitement of buying new clothes, notebooks, pens and pencils in anticipation of a new year of learning?

Unfortunately, there are many children whose hearts are filled with discouragement and embarrassment as the first day of school approaches. Their parent's cannot afford to purchase even the most basic of needs. Without crayons, pencils or paper, children do not have the same opportunity as the other children. Sadly, their self-esteem and motivation to learn is slowly chipped away.

In response to this need, Grace Baptist Church is partnering with Childrens Hunger Fund's School Pak Campaign.

It is so simple, that ANYONE can be involved in helping needy children. You simply fill small boxes (provided by CHF) with school supplies and then we distribute them to children who truly need them!

School pak boxes with directions will be available in the Grace Baptist worship center lobby July 19 thru August 10.
